I liked the ambience of the hotel - nothing gaudy or unrefined, with good traditional furnishings. Even the lift is a throwback to olden times! The breakfast was extremely good and the service attentive.

We have stayed at the Regency Hotel many times and have always been happy with the comfort, space and cleanliness of our rooms, plus all the staff have always been really friendly and extremely helpful.

All the staff were friendly helpful and ,polite, the service in the restaurant was second to none The rooms are very comfortable and clean wonderful position overlooking the beach will definitely stay here again when visiting the Island

Good location at quieter end of the prom. Characterful building, comfortable bedroom, we have a lovely sea view too. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely return

Good food and bar/dining room environment. Comfortable and spacious room, clean and well presented bathroom. Pleasant and friendly staff, willing to help with any questions about local facilities and transport.

Too hot at night. Not able to leave windows open due to traffic noise.

We've stayed at The regency twice previously and will return again. Location is where we want to be on the Island, Staff very attentive, Hotel very clean and well presented, Breakfast excellent

Pleasant staff, clean throughout the whole hotel, room maintenance on a daily basis excellent, able to get a late drink in the hotel bar..

What did you like about your stay in the property or location?
We always enjoy an overnight stay at the Regency. The hotel retains a traditional ambience and style, coupled with all the features expected of a modern hotel. The room was very spacious, the bed comfortable and the bathroom well specified. Dinner was first class and service was excellent, as usual. The full breakfast is really good, and rounds off the stay nicely, and sets us up for the day ahead.

It was very warm at night and perhaps the option to use a portable electric fan would have helped

This is the 3rd time we have done a staycation here. The staff are attentive and polite and the food is amazing. The rooms are quaint and slightly old fashioned but equipped with all the amenities required. The lift is still original and could be from a Poirot episode. Will definitely be staying again.

I particularly appreciated the friendly nature and kind assistance from all the staff. The relaxed atmosphere of the bar area and restaurant was also very enjoyable. The food and service was first class.
