What did you like about your stay in the property or location?
Close to the city, Fantastic view from our room overlooking the seafront. Excellent and friendly staff team, including servicing of rooms. We have stayed here several times and love the lift and L'Experience restaurant where the food and and staff are fabulous!
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
Breakfast could have been better sometimes. This time we were able to book the restaurant easily, though on previous occasions not always so easy. Would guest priority be possible?

Great stay - the location was great room was very nice, and quiet. The breakfast was excellent. Would recommend The Regency Hotel!

The Hotel staff were very friendly - this is a traditional hotel & we found it very comfortable.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
We only ate Breakfast in the Hotel so can only comment on that - we were a little disappointed with that - we didn’t feel it was freshly cooked.

Spacious room. Sea view if there had been no Scaffolding but could not be helped and reduction in price given

A lovely traditional hotel in a great location where everyone made you feel at home and relaxed. The breakfast was also excellent 🤩

The sea view was marvelous and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was large and nicely tiled. The breakfast and room service were excellent. The famous L’Experience restaurant is downstairs. I Loved the tartan carpet and the original decor throughout the hotel.

Only a minor thing in that the bedroom could do with a fresh paint and new carpet.

Welcoming staff, comfortable clean room, great restaurant

Room too hot on arrival but easily remedied by opening all windows and turning off radiators, so not really an issue

Our stay was very comfortable & service & food in L’Experience excellent.

The bed was a little on the soft side, but that’s just a personal thing. A shame about the scaffolding obscuring the beautiful view, we never knew it would be there & would have been nice to have been forewarned before we arrived. Also not knowing if workmen were going to be outside the window when we opened the blinds in the morning was a little concerning.
